RIU students can spend part of their studies at partner universities in the United States, the United Kingdom, South Korea, Japan, Canada, Kazakhstan, Taiwan, and beyond — through exchange agreements and joint programs with more than thirty institutions.
Exchange places are awarded competitively based on academic standing and language proficiency. The international office supports every step: nomination, visa, housing, and recognition of credits on return.
Faculty exchange and joint research mobility run alongside student exchange, including the joint Education Research Center founded with Abay Myrzakhmetov Kokshetau University in 2022.
